Incoming Exchange Student Program

Application

NCU welcome exchange students nominated by the International Offices of its partner universities. For the eligibility of application, please contact the International Offices of your home university regarding the partnership with NCU.

 Procedure of Application

  

 Required Documents

Application Online https://ncuies.ncu.edu.tw/   (Please contact your international office for the password)

Prepare the following documents to upload online. 

  1. Official Academic Transcript issued by Home University *must contain GPA and please provide the grading system of the school *The Official Academic Transcript must cover your enrollment from your first semester at the university until the present. 
  2. Official Enrollment Certificate issued by Home University
  3. Letter of Recommendation
  4. Copy of Information Page of Passport
  5. Head Photo (JPEG file and follow the passport photo standard)

*All the documents should be written in English or Chinese.

Please note that most of the courses taught in English at NCU are in graduate level but allow junior and senior undergraduate to take. Therefore, an undergraduate student without Chinese Proficiency but with good English Proficiency should come to NCU for exchange on the 3rd year or 4th year of their undergraduate.

 

 Application Time

Fall Semester (First Semester): March 1 to April 30 

Spring Semester (Second Semester): September 1 to October 30 

 

 Duration of the Semester

Fall Semester (First Semester): August~January (Class starts in mid September, ends in mid January)

Spring Semester (Second Semester) : February~July (Class starts in mid February, ends in late June)

All the incoming exchange students need to follow the steps to enroll, otherwise, a NCU student ID card cannot be issued.
